Energybirds e.V.

We are an interdisciplinary team of motivated students who are dedicated to the topics of sustainability, climate change and renewable energies. Since 2011 we are improving social awareness in environmental and energy related topics and bringing knowledge t"o all ages and social classes.

In modern society, it is even challenging for experienced professionals to maintain overview and to give realistic analysis. Therefore, it is even harder for young people to grasp the interrelation and complexity of the global challenges. To create an interest in science and social responsibility, we visit schools for interactive workshops, invite guests from society, industry and politics for discussion and present students works to the general public.

For our schools visits our goal is to establish sustainable thinking and aware usage of resources and energy. In university, we invite students to connect with different fields and change perspectives. As the world is versatile and flexible, sustainable ways of living, society and economy is. Critical thinking and good communication is necessary to change things for the better.

Our primary goal is to be an interdisciplinary platform to push sustainable ideas and knowledge, practical approaches and to share a better energy understanding. During the pandemic our school visits was constricted, that is why we started to build up our social media presence by creating online content like podcasts and information posts. Our expectation for our workshops and contents are always scientifically correct, easy explained and in a holistic setup.
